Angela is a seasoned, licensed massage therapist who began her massage therapy journey in 2010 at Healing Hands Institute in Westwood, NJ. After graduating, she acquired massage therapy licenses in New York, New Jersey, and Maine with an expertise in therapeutic modalities.
Prior to her career as a body worker, she achieved a BS in Sports Medicine, a MS in Epidemiology, and a Masters in Public Health. She worked as a certified community chronic disease epidemiologist in New York City and the surrounding tri-state area until 2013.
Additionally, Angela worked concurrently as a certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor for over a decade. She has found that the combination of her educational experiences and her personal life as an athlete have brought her an in depth understanding of the human body.
In 2016, Angela added more to her skillset and had an amazing opportunity to become a certified birth doula through DONA International. Having been a dream of hers for almost ten years, she was able to make it a reality! She is thrilled to accompany women as they transition into motherhood!
New to her repertoire, Angela is a cerfitied End of Life Doula who provides comfort and support during the final transition. She is honored to provide this service to those who need it most. Available both at home and in the hospital/supported living setting.
Lastly, Angela is a total foodie who loves to cook, garden, and read in her down time (which is sometimes hard to find as a mom!).
